Viscose Filament Yarn has become a mainstay in the global fashion industry and as producers of high quality viscose filament yarn, it is our role to guide the future of the fashion industry in its usage and raise awareness about its benefits towards sustainable fashion. Our partnership with NIFT is one borne out of a shared vision to educate India’s fashion fraternity and foster a culture of innovation and growth among these bright young minds. It’s a partnership that spans eight NIFT institutions in Delhi, Jodhpur, Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kannur, Bhopal and Chennai.

Collaborative Projects

Inculcating
Inventiveness and
Ingenuity

The Raysil x NIFT partnership aims to reward creativity and innovation by encouraging students to participate in collaborative projects, which incentivize and reward the brightest young minds of the future fashion industry and help them maximize their potential. Our goal with these projects is to motivate these students & encourage them to embrace sustainable fashion as the way of the future. Through these projects and initiatives, the students at NIFT can discover the benefits of Viscose Filament Yarn while dispelling the myths about them.

Awareness Session

Inculcating VFY Awareness Into Future
Fashion Designers

It is our belief that VFYs are only going to get better and better in the future. These incredible fabric yarns are paving the way forward for textile industry, & by extension, the fashion industry. As part of our partnership with NIFT, Raysil hosts awareness sessions for the students educating them on the role of VFYs in the fashion industry and its various uses.

Raysil Design Couture Award

Final semester students who demonstrate their excellence are recognized and incentivized through the collaboration, wherein Raysil sponsors all the fabric & reimburses expenses incurred for dyeing, printing, embroidery, stitching etc . A jury comprised of NIFT faculty and Raysil executives selects the candidates with the best collections and the winner receives a cash prize, a certificate and a chance to showcase their ensembles at Raysil design studios, offices and exhibitions across the country.

Empowering Local Artisans

Raysil intends to work with local artisans and helps them develop new products by collaborating with NIFT students and faculty using Raysil yarns and fabrics.

Enriching NIFT
Resource Centres

Raysil yarn, fabrics and Raysil® collections to its partner NIFT resource centers to help them educate the students and build a robust understanding of textiles.

Raysil also sponsors various NIFT flagship events and annual events such as Spectrum, Graduation Day, Fashionova, Alumni Meet, Converge and gifting on Women’s Day and Teacher’s Day.

Additionally, Raysil is open for NIFT students & faculty at its manufacturing facilities for industrial visits and field experience.
